Boat

I forgot to bring home the boat's modification sheet Dan, so you'll have to post it...

Also post any names you think of, and we'll have a vote on the boat name next week:

  • Twisted Fate
  • Tempting Fate
  • Threads of Fate

The Plan

Is it safe to say we are just going to boat out there and see what happens? It doesnt seem like there is a lot discussion type planning ahead of time. Just binding spirits and getting equipment right? I guess we have to decide if we want to try to get caught and deal with the situation, or if we want to sneak to the island.

Yeah, it doesn't seem like we can make much of a plan before we head out. I do think it's probably a good idea for both Eric and Wex to summon as many spirits as we can. Chances are we'll need a broad net of surveillance throughout the seas surrounding the isle to catch the pirates in action, that seems the best way. Along with some extra drones Hector might be able to use?

Wex would probably contact Krista Lively, his megacorp blogger contact. And see if anything is there, though it doesn't seem to likely. But with the Matrix buzzing about the situation it's worth a shot. Best guess would be something involving the nuclear waste disposal I guess... Let me know if there is anything there worth looking into.

Any mention of the islands or the incidents in recent month magazine publications? Not sure if we have access to the Atlanteon Foundation publication or not, but if we do we should check it out. If we don't then we should definitely check it out.

Mystic Crusaders seem the obvious culprit here, but I don't know how realistic that is or how much help suspecting them really is either. But we should be on the look out for some magical resistance if it is them.

Seems like they won't take very kindly to us just showing up, perhaps stealth is the better option? Though that seems to work less than it should for us, astral projection may be necessary for initial scouting.
